The International Plant Propagators’ Society is proud to offer scholarships to those with a genuine interest in plant production and who wish to extend and improve their knowledge and career in this area.

Why this Scholarship?

The nursery industry worldwide is a thriving and dynamic industry to be involved with. At the heart of this industry are the plants and the people who understand them. The IPPS Plant Production Scholarship helps ensure that the nursery industry has knowledgeable and enthusiastic people to continue this progress.

This Scholarship is available to financially assist you to take advantage of learning opportunities in plant production that interests you.

Scholarship Details

  • Each year three scholarships may be awarded, each worth up to $1600.
  • Scholarship money may be used for any of the following:
    1. Creating and presenting a video record of an interview with an experienced IPPS member.
    2. Pursuing a prescribed course of study, where the course content is relevant to plant propagation and/or nursery production.
    3. Undertaking a research project relating to plant propagation.
    4. Gaining relevant nursery work experience in New Zealand or overseas.

Applicants will be required to attend a future IPPS NZ conference to make a small presentation on what they have gained from this scholarship.
